Sketchnotes are a way of capturing ideas in an engaging and visual way by combining the power of sketching and writing. For the last few years, I’ve been taking visual notes at conferences and design events I attend.
In January 2011, I self-published a collection of my notes from 2009 and 2010 as a book on lulu.com and designed a little one page website to promote the book: evalotta.net/sketchnotes
I also give talks and run workshops about the subjects of sketchnoting, sketching and visual thinking at conferences as well as for agency design teams.
Together with Matthew Solle I co-founded and run a monthly sketching group in London called UX Sketch Club
