The assignment in this university project was to develop new ideas for interactive narrative structures.
My team and I chose a text from Louis Aragon as an example for a nonlinear story. “Die Parameter” consists of 34 paragraphs, describing several characters and their relationships. The text is a sort of patchwork of different scenes, constellations and actions.
We rearranged these fragments and developed a netlike structure in which the user creates his own storyline by navigating through the application. We designed the application as an interactive collage. Every action of the user adds or changes a layer and creates a new combination of visual and audible elements.
